Rhynie is a fairly new track first established in 2007 and is now the home track of Aberdeen & District MCC.
Aberdeen & District Motocross Club DO NOT own the Rhynie track.
We hire it from Colin the farmer for our race day meetings.
The track is not open all the time. Colin organises practice days.
The tracks is spread out over the side of a small hill and slightly of camber, there are steel starting gates on dirt and the start straight is quite long into a sharp left hander onto a tabletop. The tracks well laid out with twisty sections, tabletops, step up, step down, bowl turns and flat turns. Depending on the weather the track can be hard packed when dry or it can cut up quite badly when wet making riding very challenging indeed!
There’s plenty of room in the pits for parking and overnight camping etc.
Directions: As you come into Rhynie from the South there’s a town square on your left with a large grass area, turn left up the side of the park and head out into the country for around a couple of miles. North entry being the opposite.
This postcode should get you to Rhynie AB54 4HH once there, you turn in at the square/garden area in the centre of the village (halfway up the main street) and follow the road up the right hand side of the green/garden area into the country for a couple miles and you can’t miss the track turning near the farm on right, track turning on left with a wooden fence entrance, track up over the hill….
The address for the track is;
Mains of Lesmoir, Rhynie, AB54 4HH
